Favourite artist(s)… local or otherwise?
Joe Madureira, Michel Gondry.
In a nutshell, what do you do?… what medium… and how would you describe your genre?…
I’m an illustrator. I use pencils and as much as I would love to be a master of various media, I really want to master my drawing skills. Can’t stop learning right?
How did you first get an interest in art?
Where/How did you learn?
A brief history of your career…
Oh man 2009 was my first real year in the real world as a real aritst. So, I’m still pretty new to this whole independent ass kicking hippie artist, doing it as a personal and social responsibility scene. I worked, with some friends, old and new, on 5 animation projects in 2009 which was my main focus that year.
What are some of your current art projects, personal or otherwise?
Comic gig. Animation gig. Animation gig. Illustration gigs pop up here and there.
Hobbies?… What do you do for kicks?
Dota. Dota. DOTA!!!!!!!!
And I just got a PS3 and that shit is sexy!
What’s your favourite food?
If you could be any animal, what animal would you be and why?
I don’t know. I think tigers are cool, but I would like to fly, so fly. LOL. Ok, maybe cat actually. GASP!
Okay and finally… what are your long term career/life ambitions?
I want to teach at the end of it all.
I want to be a so good at what I do, that the only *thing* left for me is *to* give it back. I’ll take it really seriously.
Many thanks… anything else you’d like to add?
I appreciate this and feel honored to be featured on this site. This is my first online portfolio or anything, and this is one exhibition space that I am happy to be a part of.
